How to get JIO Broadband Connection

The much awaited Reliance JIO broadband is now available for booking. From August 15 its now officially open to book JIO broadband connection. Users can enjoy high speed FTTH (Fiber to the Home) broadband service upto 1Gbps without paying too much. Jio GigaFiber will provide ultra high-definition entertainment on large screen TVs, multi-party video conferencing from a living room, voice-activated virtual assistance, virtual reality gaming, digital shopping and immersive experiences. How to get JIO Broadband Connection

Jio GigaFiber will come loaded with a GigaFiber router and a Jio GigaTV set-top box. Jio GigaTV set-top box will give access to over 600+ tv channels, thousands of movies, and millions of songs. It is supposedly a 4K-ready streaming box. It will also enable the customers to make video calls in India.

What are the Jio GigaFiber Plans ?

  • Rs 500 plan – Users will be able to use 300 GB of data for 30 days at the speed of 50 Mbps, which is significantly faster than other broadband providers at this price point.
  • Rs 750 plan – 450 GB data at 50 Mbps.
  • Rs 1,299 Plan – 750 GB data at 100 Mbps.
  • Rs 1,500 plan – 900 GB data at 150 Mbps.

In case users would like to try the broadband service if its available in that area, they can do so by paying Rs 4500 as a one-time security deposit. As part of the trial, users are entitled to get 100GB of monthly data for 90 days at 100Mbps.

Which cities will get the Jio GigaFiber?

This high speed broadband service of Reliance JIO will start simultaneously in 1,100 cities. Apart from the metro cities, this service will also be available in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

How to register for Jio GigaFiber?

To register this service, you will need to book from JIO’s official website. In which you have to enter your mobile number, city name, address, e-mail address etc. If you are a JIO user then you can book it from MyJIO app as well.
