No CyanogenMod support for One plus One in India

No CyanogenMod support for One plus One in India. The new smartphone company One plus was planning to launch its flagship killer phone One Plus One (OPO) in India after its success all over the world. Tech enthusiasts worldwide have welcomed and accepted this phone for its awesome offerings at a very low-cost. And India being one of the greatest market, it was evident after the astonishing success of Xiaomi here, that they will target India.  This phone offers same configurations which the current big brands are promoting as flagship devices and selling at more than twice the price.

The One Plus One is powered by a Qualcomm© Snapdragon™ 801 processor with 2.5GHz Quad-Core CPUs and Adreno 330 GPU for superior graphics and gaming experience. It is packed with 3GB of LP-DDR3 RAM running at 1866MHz and available at 16GB as well as 64GB variants. For photography there is a 13 megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 camera with f/2.0 aperture rear camera and 5MP front camera with extra-wide 80º viewing angle. This device runs on CYANOGEN 11S, a customized Android which offers lots of extra features and freedom than the stock Android. Please go to this link for the detailed specifications.

Indian tech enthusiasts were waiting eagerly for the launch of one plus one in India from a long period of time. As  the waiting period is coming to an end, quite surprisingly it is officially announced that the OnePlus One Won’t Have CyanogenMod In India because Cyanogen has granted exclusive rights to another company (Micromax) in India.  This is a big disappointment as OPO with CM is considered as the sweetest union but now thanks to the deal we are deprived of CM in One plus one in india. However, in their letter One plus has announced that now they will ship OPO with stock Android lollipop. They are planning to release their in-house / community based firmware next month and production ready build by the end of February.
