Music Detection in the lock screen
Now your Pixel phone can even listen to and show you the music details even on the lock screen. Alternatively, we used to ask google to listen and find out the music but with this feature – google is always listening. You have to turn on the option by going to the phone’s Settings app. Then tap Sound & vibration and then Now playing. Turn on Show search button on the lock screen. This is a very useful automation tool available in Pixel. You may have already used the IFTTT app which does something similar. Using this automation tool in Pixel you can check for certain criteria and based on that you can trigger actions. e.g, you can check if your device is connected to a certain wifi network and if yes, the device ‘ll automatically trigger the silent mode.
